Over the holidays a few of my friends came by my hometown of Vancouver! Although the weather was pretty cold and soggy for most of the trip, we still had a good time eating and exploring! 🙂
First up was one of my all time favourite breakfast places – the Twisted Fork Bistro on Granville Street!
We went to visit Harrison Hot Springs for a day to check out the springs and get a massage. 🙂
Capstone Tea & Fondue was ultra delicious – we had both cheese fondues and chocolate fondues.
We also stopped by the revolving restaurant, Cloud 9, at the top of the Empire Landmark hotel for a beautiful view during dinner.
Biertown is another fantastic stop in Vancouver along Cambie. The oysters are to die for, and they have a ton of beers on tap.
If you’re there during December, it’s always worth it to check out the lights at the Van Dusen gardens.
Of course, while my friends were here, I stopped by the house a couple of times to check up on this sleepy head.
Finally, we found a new gem in Gastown called L’Abbatoir. The current scone with clotted cream and blueberry jam was absolutely delicious.
