Vancouver with Visitors

Over the holidays a few of my friends came by my hometown of Vancouver! Although the weather was pretty cold and soggy for most of the trip, we still had a good time eating and exploring! πŸ™‚

First up was one of my all time favourite breakfast places – the Twisted Fork Bistro on Granville Street!

We went to visit Harrison Hot Springs for a day to check out the springs and get a massage. πŸ™‚IMG_20141229_152117_1024x768

Capstone Tea & Fondue was ultra delicious – we had both cheese fondues and chocolate fondues.IMG_20141229_212705_1024x768

We also stopped by the revolving restaurant, Cloud 9, Β at the top of the Empire Landmark hotel for a beautiful view during dinner.10917515_789027554508787_694657462_n

Biertown is another fantastic stop in Vancouver along Cambie. The oysters are to die for, and they have a ton of beers on tap.IMG_20141231_184343_768x1024

If you’re there during December, it’s always worth it to check out the lights at the Van Dusen gardens.

Of course, while my friends were here, I stopped by the house a couple of times to check up on this sleepy head.

Finally, we found a new gem in Gastown called L’Abbatoir. The current scone with clotted cream and blueberry jam was absolutely delicious.
